Executive Director: Lynne Israel, BS, OTR/L

Lynne has been practicing occupational therapy since 1968. She has advanced certification for administering and interpreting the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. She approaches treatment not only as a master clinician but also from a practical aspect as a parent. She worked in Fairfax Co. Public Schools and at the Lab School of Washington prior to opening her own practice in 1978. Prior to becoming a parent, Lynne Israel was responsible for the home care of two boys who were later diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome. She also brings experience from her own three children, one of whom has Sensory Processing Disorder (previously called sensory integration dysfunction).
